The Punjabiforce Mentor Promise

Mentoring here is seva: time given freely to lift someone else up. As a Punjabiforce mentor, I promise to:

1. Show up the way I'd want someone to show up for me. Patient, kind and respectful, whoever I'm mentoring and wherever they're starting from.
2. Put them first. I won't pressure a mentee into a job, product or service, or share their details with anyone. If I recruit or have something that might help them, I'll say so openly and let them choose.
3. Keep their story safe. What a mentee shares stays with me, unless someone could be harmed. Then I'll tell the Punjabiforce team.
4. Be real. I'll share honest experience, including what went wrong, and point them to someone better placed when I can't help.
5. Keep it open. I'll meet online or in public places, and keep every conversation one I'd be proud for the community to see.

If something doesn't feel right, I'll speak to the team. Punjabiforce may pause a mentorship that doesn't live up to this promise.
